Ethereum 2.0

The former name for a set of major upgrades to the Ethereum network, now referred to as 'The Merge,' 'The Surge,' etc. These upgrades transitioned Ethereum from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake, introduced sharding for scalability, and made the network more sustainable and efficient.
