Crosslink

A crosslink is a reference embedded in the Ethereum Beacon Chain that connects to and confirms the recent state of a shard chain, serving as a critical bridge between the main chain and its shards. In Ethereum's sharding design, crosslinks allow the Beacon Chain to periodically verify that shard chains are operating correctly and maintain state consistency across the entire network.
