DeBank

Web3 / infrastructure applications

A DeFi portfolio tracking application that allows users to monitor all their token holdings, DeFi positions, NFTs, and transaction history across multiple blockchain networks from a single interface, by reading wallet data directly from public blockchains without requiring users to connect their wallets or provide credentials. DeBank aggregates data from hundreds of DeFi protocols across Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, and other networks, calculating net worth and position breakdowns in real time. It also includes social features including the ability to follow other wallets and see their portfolio activity, functioning as a kind of LinkedIn or Twitter for on-chain wealth display. DeBank became closely associated with Rabby Wallet, a browser extension wallet developed by the same team (DeBank Lab), which integrated portfolio tracking directly into the wallet interface. Example: During DeFi bull markets, it became common for prominent on-chain participants to share their DeBank portfolio links publicly as a form of credibility display, showing auditable proof of their positions and returns. The platform's transparent, address-based design made it impossible to fake portfolio values, creating a form of financial credibility unique to on-chain environments. Why it matters for Web3: DeBank illustrates how blockchain transparency enables new categories of applications that have no direct equivalent in traditional finance. A tool that publicly displays anyone's complete financial portfolio, updated in real time, would be impossible or illegal in traditional markets. DeBank's social layer also demonstrates how on-chain financial data can support new forms of reputation and trust building in communities where pseudonymous participants need ways to establish credibility without revealing identity.
